Tomaz's Citroen GS Club
Year of manufacture: 1975
Tomaz has had this really nice GS Club for quite some time now. He is constantly improving the car both mechanically and in appearance.
We used this GS to drive to Citromobile in Utrecht this year (2004) and the car performed really well. The left picture was taken somewhere on the German Autobahn, and the right one while visiting the aunt and uncle in Wiesbaden.
The car was repainted in 2003, these two pictures were taken shortly after the new paint job was done.
It is worth mentioning that this car has the 5-speed gearbox installed. The fuel efficiency on long trips is excellent: the average consumption was 6,5 liters/100 km on the way to Citromobile and back (2500 km), and that was mostly fairly fast motorway driving.
Left: that's how a chicken feels just before it's run over by the GS... (-:
Right: the dashboard with the cyclope-eye speedo.
Besides this GS, Tomaz also owns a GSA that has been restored recently. I will add the GSA onto these pages soon.
And he also co-owns a GS Break together with Miki.
