Application RŽG air volume damper is designed for the installation into air conditioning ducts in applications dealing with extremely cold air and exposed to the risk of freezing. Electric heaters prevent the freezing of the damper and thus assure its normal operation. Description The design is based on the conventional regulation air volume damper type RŽ-1A or RŽ-1B. With the normal design, each blade has a built-in electric heater of a capacity of 300W per meter blade length. Safe operation of heaters is secured by a capillary thermostat. The thermostat maintains the heater temperature within the range of minimum 30°C to maximum 100°C. The heaters are connected in parallel, thus no failure of a single heater disturbs normal operation of other heaters. Dimensions RŽG dampers are produced in the dimension range of B=200 x H=200 mm to B=2000 x H=2000 mm. All dimensions within this range are freely selectable. Regulation The louvres are operated either manually or by motor, applying Belimo motors.
