Klima ADE
Version 5.0 |
March 2004 |
- Supply air nozzles are included
- Calculation models for cooling and heating in confined
spaces for nozzles
Inclined jet impingement with a wall surface and interaction
of jets supplied from
the opposite directions are included for the nozzles.
- Improved and symplified calculation for grilles
-Improved calculation models for cooling and heating
in confined spaces for grilles
-Interaction of jets supplied from opposite directions
for grilles
For practical applications related to space ventilation,
interaction of jets supplied in
the opposite direction toward each other ( from the
grilles located on the opposite).
|
Version 4.5 |
August 2003 |
- Simplified grilles projecting
Program application includes functions to determine the interaction between air flow and surrounding walls.
-
Inclined jet impingement with a wall surface and interaction of jets, supplied from the opposite directions are included for duct diffusers. The following types of air supply are supported:
a) Cooling - One sided left (horizontal)
b) Cooling - One sided right (horizontal)
c) Cooling - Two sided (horizontal)
d) Cooling - Alternate sided (horizontal)
e) Heating - Vertical (90°)
-
An extended list of spaces is provided to calculate a required ventilation rate, according to defined occupancy and to the CEN CR 1752.
The final update of this program (Klima ADE 5) will be released by the end of the year 2003.
|
Version 4.0 |
June 2002 |
- Calculation of Duct diffusers
-
Now, the program package supports the SKD-13 type round duct diffuser
basic models, i.e. modes of air discharge (cooling: unidirectional
horizontal discharge, bidirectional horizontal discharge and switching
bidirectional horizontal discharge; heating: vertical
discharge).
-
With the OD-4, OD-7, OD-8 and OD-9 type swirl diffusers, the maximum
distance db=5.5 m limitation is eliminated. This distance determines the
rate of diffuser interaction at the velocity at throw distance, vL. The
minimum distance db = 1.0 m is retained.
-
The program package now supports access to 'GraphicXX.bmp' images of
grilles and diffusers. Now, new projects can be stored in any directory,
not only in the directory where calculation examples are installed.
Further, the problems of access to 'DisXX.bmp' graphics have been
remedied.

Version 4.0 |
February 2002 |
- Slot diffusers:
- available calculation and graphical display of air supply for slot diffusers   LD-13, LD-14 and LD-15
- optional application of wall- or ceiling-mounted slot diffusers
- application of vertical or horizontal air supply into the room, depending on the   mode of operation - heating or cooling
-
Simplified positioning of diffusers, variable diffusers and slot diffusers according to the room conditions
-
Extended and enhanced HELP FILE, including practical examples and instructions for use
-
Improved screen graphical display and printed examples
|
Version 3.6 |
February 2001 |
- Grilles:
Point of separation for ceiling effect (Calculation model is based on conditions measured in a real room.)
- Duct grilles (SK):
- Fast selection for cooling (with or without ceiling effect) and heating
- Duct placement (Several solutions for duct placement: left, right, central or left&right are included.)
- Variable diffusers:
Fast selection, placement and calculation for:
- Diffuser Type OD-11
- Diffuser KD-8
- Improved and user friendly interface
- New calculation details and printing of the results
|
Version 3.0 |
May 2000 |
The calculations are performed according to actual
conditions prevailing in the residence rooms. The latter are specified by the following standards:
- Grilles, based on thermal comfort according to the EN ISO 7730 standard (maximum allowable air velocity in the occupancy zone);
- Air quality according to the CEN CR 1752 standard;
- Air pollution according to the CEN CR 1752 standard;
- Air quantity recommended for people to feel, based on the CO2 concentration in the occupancy zone;
- Acoustic requirements in accordance with the CEN CR 1752;
- Air quantity adequate for thermal comfort;
- Determination of the element according to acoustic requirements (allowable noise level in the occupancy zone);
- Definition of the room and the occupancy zone;
- Design of air distribution elements. Selection of the optimal solution: grilles and diffusers.
