Converting curves to circular arcs

The software solution consists of 800 lines of C source code excerpted from our programs. The code clearly presents the conversion of DXF entities ELLIPSE and SPLINE to circular arcs (in the DXF means). The sequence of circular arcs is sometimes called the circular spline. Such a curve is presented on the following picture.

However the circular arcs are the only way to drive the curve on some CNC machines. Of course the generation of offset curves is also easier on circular arcs. So if you want to incorporate the ELLIPSE and SPLINE conversion to circular arcs into your code, send us email for conditions and price.

The conversion does not depend on ellipse or NURBS curves, the algorithm in the code is ready to extended the conversion to any curve.
